Firm gratefully attributes win to new employee programs and benefits
DETROIT, Nov. 6, 2017 – Giffels Webster, a Detroit-headquartered consulting firm specializing in infrastructure and land development solutions for public, private and institutional clients, is one of the “Top Workplaces” of 2017, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The Giffels Webster team was among 100 Michigan companies honored with the designation at the Nov. 2 award reception and dinner at the Detroit Marriott Troy. For the past three years, the firm has been named one of the Detroit Free Press’s “Workplace Achievers.”
“This year’s inclusion as a ‘Top Workplace’ is a tribute to our team,” said Scott Clein, PE, LEED, AP, president and partner at Giffels Webster. “Great workplaces are a direct result of great people. We’ve been dedicated, as individuals and as a company, to building better versions of ourselves each day as we help build better communities.”
“Top Workplaces” were nominated by employees through an anonymous online survey run by Detroit Free Press partner Workplace Dynamics. The survey considers how well Michigan employers are keeping workers motivated and satisfied.
“Giffels Webster has seen tremendous growth in recent years due to the hard work and expertise of our people,” said Clein. “We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to create an environment where our people feel valued and appreciated and take pride in their ability to impact overall quality of life in the communities we serve.”
