Giffels Webster Promotes Three New Partners

Additions to Leadership Guides Future Success

DETROIT – Jan. 10, 2019 – Giffels Webster, a Detroit-headquartered consulting firm specializing in planning, land development and infrastructure solutions for public, private and institutional clients, announced the promotion of three new partners in its practice.

The newly named partners have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their respective practice areas over the last several years at Giffels Webster, and will play an integral part in the firm’s future. The most recent additions to the leadership team include:

  • Michael G. Darga, PE – Darga joined Giffels Webster in 2008 and has served as a senior project manager, specializing in urban redevelopment and multimodal transportation initiatives. Previously he was the engineer of design for Wayne County Public Services. He currently serves as the president for Friends of the Rouge and is a board member for Tour-de-Troit. Darga has more than 34 years of experience in the industry.  
  • Jill Bahm, AICP – Bahm joined Giffels Webster in 2016 and has served as a principal planner, specializing in long-range planning, downtown development, and community engagement projects. Prior, she most recently served as principal planner of Clearzoning for eight years, acquired by Giffels Webster in 2016. She currently serves as a board member for Main Street Oakland County (MSOC), Mend on the Move and the Huron Valley Council for the Arts. Bahm has more than 23 years of experience in the planning industry.
  • Justin Wellman, PE – Wellman joined Giffels Webster in 2013 and has served as senior project manager, specializing in municipal infrastructure and federally-funded transportation design and contract administration projects. Prior, he most recently was a member of the City of Royal Oak Engineering Department. Wellman has more than 21 years of experience in the industry.

The partners will maintain their current roles of managing projects, guiding clients and leading their peers in each of their respective offices and service areas. As leadership team members, they will have a heightened role in company policy and overall management of the firm.
