Brent Kraft, PE, Senior Project Manager and Civil Engineer at Detroit-headquartered Giffels Webster, has been named a 2026 Rising Star by Zweig Group and recognized on The Zweig List, a national platform honoring the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry’s most innovative firms, impactful projects, and influential leaders.

The national Rising Stars award celebrates emerging professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical excellence, and a strong commitment to advancing their firm, the AEC profession, and their communities. Honorees represent the next generation of leaders shaping the future of the built environment.

At Giffels Webster, Brent has distinguished himself as a community-focused municipal engineer dedicated to improving infrastructure in underserved areas. As a Senior Project Manager at Giffels Webster, he partners closely with local governments to deliver critical water, wastewater, and roadway improvements. His work has helped secure significant funding and advance long-needed projects that directly impact quality of life. He’s based in the firm’s Washington Township office.

He emphasizes collaboration across all stages of project delivery, including planning, design, and construction, working closely with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and contractors to ensure projects move efficiently from concept to completion. Through mentorship and hands-on leadership, he develops the next generation of engineers while continuing to champion practical, people-centered solutions.
