Inspiring Futures at Life Remodeled’s Career Vision Day 2025

Community Involvement

Giffels Webster was proud to participate in Life Remodeled’s Career Vision Day 2025 at Central High School in Detroit. A few of our team members spent the day connecting with students of all ages, from elementary to high school, sharing career paths, personal experiences, and advice for the future.

The event offered a meaningful opportunity to engage directly with young minds who are just beginning to explore their futures. Our team spoke with students about the wide range of careers available in planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, surveying, and geographic information systems. We discussed what our work involves, how we chose our careers, and how we contribute to shaping the communities where we live and work.

At Giffels Webster, we believe that community impact begins with connection. Supporting the next generation of professionals, especially right here in Detroit, is part of our long-standing commitment to building stronger communities through both our work and our involvement.

It was exciting to see the energy, curiosity, and potential in every conversation. From students asking how to become an engineer to those interested in internships, it was clear that these interactions can help plant the seeds for future careers.

We are grateful to Life Remodeled for organizing such an inspiring and well-run event. Their mission to invest in neighborhoods and youth closely reflects our values of service, collaboration, and shared purpose.

We also appreciated the opportunity to hear from other professionals and organizations who were there to support students. Events like these highlight the power of collective impact and how meaningful it can be when professionals from different fields come together for a common goal.

We look forward to joining future events and continuing to support Detroit’s emerging leaders. Thank you to the Giffels Webster team members who took the time to participate and share their knowledge, encouragement, and enthusiasm with students who are just beginning their journeys.
