This spring, Giffels Webster is proud to join the Metro Detroit Heart Walk, supporting the American Heart Association’s mission to fight heart disease and stroke while promoting healthier communities through education, research, and advocacy.
On Saturday, May 18, members of our team will gather at Wayne State University’s campus to walk together with thousands of others who are passionate about heart health. The event is free and open to all ages and fitness levels, offering a non-competitive, family-friendly environment that celebrates wellness and community impact.
Participating in the Heart Walk aligns with our firm’s commitment to creating stronger, healthier communities both through our work and through our actions. It’s more than a walk, it’s a chance to stand with those affected by heart disease and stroke, to honor their stories, and to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and healthy lifestyles.
Team Giffels Webster is walking in support of a cause that affects millions of people every year. In addition to participating in the event, we are encouraging donations that go directly to the American Heart Association’s efforts in research, community programs, and education initiatives. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps bring us closer to a world free of cardiovascular disease.
Our participation is not only a reflection of our corporate values but also an opportunity to engage our team in a shared purpose outside of the office. Walking together reminds us that health, teamwork, and compassion are all part of what makes a community thrive.
We are excited to take part in this impactful event and look forward to joining forces with other organizations, families, and individuals committed to making a difference. Whether walking, donating, or simply cheering others on, our team is proud to contribute to a cause that promotes long-term health and well-being.
Stay tuned for updates, photos, and stories from the walk as we lace up and step out for heart health.
